Dina Ink began as a thank you card for my daughter’s first birthday. I wanted to send something unique, and our friends and family were impressed with my creativity. Shortly thereafter, I was invited to a stationery soirée. Of the various home parties I had attended, this one was the most memorable. Excited by all things personalized, I purchased gifts aplenty for my friends and myself.

After a move to California and the birth of my son, I contemplated how I could best use my business degrees to do something I really enjoyed. We jokingly referred to my plethora of considered ventures as “Dina, Inc.” In the meantime, I began making notepads for friends who were frequently asking when they could reorder. I soon realized that I had found my calling. When my mentor mistook the Inc. for Ink with a “k”, a name was born.

So I acquired the equipment and began developing my own artwork. The feedback was great, and my creative side was inspired. Committed to developing original and imaginative stationery designs, I opened for business in 2005.

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to pursue my passion. I am now able to do what I truly enjoy…creating stationery that delights both the giver and receiver. I often hear from strangers who smile through the phone as they describe the Dina Ink note they received.

A friend recently shared this quote with me, and it exemplifies why I love what I do:
“People may not remember what you did or what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel.” I am optimistic about the future stationery endeavors of Dina Ink and thank you for being a part of the journey.
